What is Shop with Scrip?

Note: This fundraiser does not require you to sell anything to other people.

You purchase gift cards, both physical cards and eGift cards. You purchase the cards at face value and then a designated percentage (rebate) is donated immediately to Light of the World Academy. No worries about losing the gift card when it’s electronic, as it’s saved to your phone. You can purchase eGift cards and use them minutes later, or purchase them ahead of time on bonus rebate days to earn more money for the school. Last year two people test drove this fundraiser and earned $600 for the school. How much can our 150 families raise? We will give a prize to the highest earning families at the end of the year picnic. And if you “blow us away” we will do something extra special at the end of the year picnic.

Did you know you can email an eGift card as a gift? When you purchase it, just be sure to check the box, “Make this a gift” and enter the recipient’s name and email address!

We are going by totals, so if you purchase $100 total, you will receive two entries, $200 total, receives four entries, and so on.

No need to inform us, our school coordinators can run a report and see who has made purchases.

While 90% of the gift cards have an eGift card option (saved on phone)

There are some gift cards that are only physical gift cards or reload gift cards (this is a physical gift card that you can add more money to, don’t throw these away).

Our coordinator will send in the school’s order for physical and reload gift cards once a month to minimize shipping fees.

• October due date for physical/reload gift cards: Friday, October 25
• November due date for physical/reload gift cards: Friday, Nov 15 (in time for black Friday shopping)
• December due date for physical/reload gift cards: Friday, Dec 6 (in time for Christmas)

We will share these brands on the Light of the World Elementary Kids Facebook page, but you can also view the bonus’s from your phone or pc
