Governing Board

The Light of the World Academy’s Governing Board consists of concerned community members who help guarantee that our students are receiving the best education possible. The board meets regularly to make decisions regarding school policies, state and Montessori Method compliance, budget allocations, and educational goals.

Board Meetings

We would like to extend a warm invitation to the public to attend our regular board meetings.

All meetings will take place at 5:30 p.m. at 550 E. Hamburg, Pinckney, Michigan 48169 unless otherwise noted. Official minutes of meetings of the board of directors at Light of the World Academy are available for inspection at the same address.

Any person with a disability who needs accommodations for participation in a meeting of the board, should contact the school office at (734) 720-9760 at least five days in advance of the meeting to request assistance.
