2013 Run for the Gold 5K

This is a charity event. All proceeds raised during this event will be split between the Light of the World Academy Scholarship Fund and Faith Medical Clinic (a free medical clinic in downtown Pinckney). Showcase your festive Irish apparel and spirit as you Run for the Gold to help support two outstanding community organizations!

1/4 Mile Fun Run - ages 4 & under and 5-6

1/2 Mile Fun Run - ages 6-8 and 9-12

Gimme the "Green" Challenge

If you are looking for a great way to give back and motivate yourself in Run for the Gold, then participate in the "Gimme the Green" Challenge for Individual Fundraising.

It's simple. Take and individual sponsorship form and start gathering pledges. Supporting two wonderful causes is all you need to help you blaze across the finish line at Run for the Gold. Click here to download a pledge form.

Please turn in the "Gimme the Green" form and funds collected to Light of the World Academy by Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 4:00 pm. The individual who raises the most "Green" will be recognized at the 5K award ceremony. Should you miss the deadline, please turn in at packet pick-up on race day. Unfortunately, you will not be considered for recognition.
